Sotik Academy registered with the Global School Partnerships UK in 2006. It hopes to create even more partnerships in the coming years. The British Council’s Global Schools Partnership programme started in 2003 and its role is to facilitate international school links between schools in Kenya among other schools in over 57 countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean.
The programme is funded by Ukaid from the Department for International Development and is managed by a consortium of the British Council, Cambridge Education Foundation and UK One World Linking Association.

The Connecting Classrooms programme develops partnerships between schools in the UK and schools around the world. Funded by the British Council, the scheme helps young people to learn and collaborate with their international peers, creating a safer and more connected world for the future. The programme also offers opportunities for professional development and accreditation through the International School Award.
